Marvin is the current Associate Dean for Public Affairs of the UP Diliman College of Arts and Letters. He is assistant professor at the Department of Communication and Theatre Arts with a bachelor's (magna cum laude) and master's degree in Speech Communication. His research and teaching specializations include: Public Speaking and Persuasion, Instructional Communication and Technology, Digital Tools for Teaching, and Oral Interpretation and Performance.
