Oscar Tantoco Serquiña Jr. is a faculty member in the Department of Speech Communication and Theatre Arts at the University of the Philippines. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in Theatre Studies at the University of Melbourne. He has received library, research, and study fellowships from the National University of Singapore, Sciences Po-Paris, the National Library of Australia, and the University of Michigan. His essays have appeared in Theatre Research International, Humanities Diliman, Kritika Kultura, the Philippine Political Science Journal, AKDA, and the Philippine Humanities Review.
