Tiatco,  Sir Anril P. 

Sir Anril P. Tiatco is professor of theatre and performance studies, and currently the chairperson of the Department. The Department of Science and Technology – National Research Council of the Philippines (DOST-NRCP) recognized him as its 2021 Achievement Awardee in the field of Humanities for his contribution in theatre and performance research. Tiatco is contributing editor of Theatre Research International, associate editor of Contemporary Theatre Review and Humanities Diliman, and regional editor of The Theatre Times. He is currently the chair (head convener) of the Asian Theatre Working Group of the International Federation for Theatre Research. The University conferred upon him the title University Artist for his exemplary productivity as a performance scholar and a performance maker (dramaturgy).
