Last 20th October 2025, Assistant Professors Christine Joy Magpayo and Liza Constantino successfully delivered two presentations entitled "The Sound of Pink: The Feminist Rhetoric of Leni Robredo's Presidential Campaign Music" and "Archival Medi(t)ations: An Oral History of Aerial Artists Drawing from Digital Archives," respectively.
The session focused on political and bodily movements from rhetorical and performance studies lenses, prompting a meaningful conversation on feminist vis-a-vis patriarchal rhetoric and on digitized human bodies as enacted and reenacted through dance.
The session, moderated by Mr. Josef Ryan Tosoc, was attended by students and faculty members of the UP Department of Speech Communication and Theatre Arts.

The DSCTA Brown Bag Sessions is a lecture series of the UP Department of Speech Communication and Theatre Arts designed to provide an opportunity for its faculty members and invited academic scholars from other universities to present their ongoing research projects and creative works to the general public.
