DSCTA co-hosts "Performance and the Environment" Student Exchange and Conference with I. L. Caragiale National University of Theatre and La Salle College of the Arts, Singapore

The Department of Speech Communication and Theatre Arts (DSCTA), University of the Philippines Diliman is collaborating with LASALLE College of the Arts, University of the Arts Singapore, and The National University of Theatre and Film I.L. Caragiale (Romania) for an upcoming international conference entitled "Performance and the Environment."

Spearheading this event are Mr. Jonas Gabriel M. Garcia, Asst. Prof. Issa Manalo-Lopez, and Asst. Prof. Tess Jamias.

Scheduled for May 14–16, 2025, this event invites scholars and practitioners to delve into the evolving relationship between performance and environmental stewardship. Participants are encouraged to present their research projects and creative works that challenge, inspire, and expand our understanding of this critical intersection.


The deadline for contributions has been extended to January 30, 2025. Submissions may be made here.
